SPDX Team

This weekend gone, saw the coming together of a partnership. One that took on the world in the Polish DX contest, and on initial feelings produced a grand score.

For the 24 hours period of operating, Marcin (M0GLV) and Kevin (2E0KVK) were locked in the shack throughout and operated over 5 different bands in their bid to do well in this contest. During the operating period, they were visited by other members of the club who gave both moral as well as sustenance support. These guys were not going to give in to the lure of sleep

Come midday on the Sunday, these two operators looked like they needed to sleep for a week. With an overdose of caffeine, they went their separate ways, home to bed. Left behind was the log, with a terrific 637 contacts.

Well done lads.

EMK

A new company has started up just north of the border. This venture is the child of a fellow Ham, MM0HJX, and will be producing Morse keys. The difference with these keys is that they will be in kit form. Yes, you will be putting them together yourself!

The website although not fully up and running yet, has some useful facilities for those wishing to learn the CODE. Take a look at what is on offer, or look back towards the end of the month when the site should be fully up and running. Link to the site is HERE
