The Stig turns up at fort paull
Andy G7LRR welcomes the Stig at the American Car Rally
The Stig gets into the radio shack and the pile up gets to much for him
we told him sign language would not work on the radio.

Congratulations are in order to Valerie Terry on passing her Foundation exam on Saturday,
Val has worked hard for this and with no Electrical or radio background has done very well indeed.
Once again well Done Val from all at the Club.
This weekend saw the club up-routed and moved on over to a country location in the North Yorkshire for this years SSB Field Day.
The location sourced for this year was amazing, with a zero noise floor and lovely views over open fields. This was an idyllic location for any radio operation. I think that we will be using it again for future outings.
From the start of the contest, members were on the radio clocking stations from all over, and continued to do so until the early hours of the morning. After a couple hours sleep, and a refuel of coffee, off they were again continuing to as many stations as possible until the end of the contest, at 2pm (local).
Many thanks to those that attended and made the weekend so successful; the results of which can be found here.
Friday saw a visit from a fellow SOTA friend of Dave G4ASA. Mike 2E0YYY was in the region and came along with Dave to our club night. Within no time at all, Mike was on the radio and working a pile up on 40m with Dave in the hot seat logging.
